An esteemed private practice, renowned for its strong reputation across the local market, is actively seeking a skilled Family Solicitor to join their expanding Family Law Team at their prestigious Dorset office.

Responsibilities & Duties

Expertly navigating divorce proceedings

Advising on the financial intricacies of divorce cases

Assisting with the creation of separation agreements

Offering legal guidance on matters of child custody and support

Conducting mediation sessions for resolving family disputes

Drafting and negotiating cohabitation agreements with finesse

Crafting prenuptial agreements tailored to individual needs

The ideal candidate for the Family Solicitor position should hold relevant qualifications and/or experience in family law, alongside robust IT skills and proficiency in case management systems. Meticulous attention to detail, effective time management, and a proactive, reliable demeanor are crucial attributes. Confidence, professionalism, and a personable nature are essential for fostering positive relationships within the firm and with clients alike. Demonstrating initiative, ambition, flexibility, and adaptability is key, complemented by strong organizational and communication abilities. Additionally, excelling in providing exceptional client service, maintaining integrity and discretion, and thriving in high-pressure situations by showcasing excellent problem-solving skills are further requirements for success in this role.
