At Bellrock, we harness technology to give our customers an experience that not only leaves them with advanced building systems, but with peace of mind. We unlock that by being technology-led, but people-driven. When you’re part of Bellrock, you’ll get everything you need to be your best at work - because our people are the heart of our business. We’re all about helping them to shine. You will lead the Bid Management team, providing best practice and positive leadership to ensure the highest quality scores are achieved in all submissions. The team you are responsible for will support new customer proposals alongside supporting renewal and growth with existing customers. The role holder is expected to own the Sales/ Business Development process for the Division, ensuring adherence at all times with full audit trails in place. This is a key role in the growth of Bellrock and it is essential that you work collaboratively across the Bellrock Group to ensure that our proposals and sales tools, including our Bid Library, are of the highest quality, fully up to date, and value-adding to sales processes. How will you be the change?
We believe every role is essential to providing that peace of mind for our customers - whatever part of the business you’re in. Every role plays a part in driving us further. Everyone can be the change. That’s how we deliver value for our customers, and build systems that lead the way. As the Head of Bid Management & Quality with Bellrock, you’ll do it by: Overseeing the creation, development, and delivery of innovative bids in conjunction and partnership with relevant Business Development, Solutions Directors, and the pricing and commercial functions. Owning the Business Development Process for the Division and ensuring adherence with full audit trails in place. Leading lessons learned activities, maximizing and embedding the learning from all wins and losses. Ensuring that Quality is the key Point of Difference, rather than Price. Providing expertise in translating Bellrock solutions into high scoring, easy-to-understand written and visually rich proposals and presentations. Owning the Bid Library, ensuring it is easy to navigate, contains excellent case studies, proof points, evidence, and exemplar responses, and that processes for periodic reviews and refresh are in place and performed. Leading the use of AI within the sales process, managing the risks associated with AI and ensuring that human overlay and sign off is in place for all AI-generated content. Leading the review process for all proposals, qualifying reviewers, and performing high impact reviews yourself. Owning team mailboxes and other communications channels used by clients and the wider market to engage with Bellrock, ensuring correspondence received is reviewed and shared with relevant stakeholders in a timely manner. Leading the Framework Management activities for the Frameworks that Bellrock holds and for upcoming requirements. Resource planning and management for current and future pipeline, proactively identifying ‘pinch points’ and proposing solutions to mitigate them. Achieving high win rates across new business opportunities. Conducting thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs, bringing these insights and language into our proposals. Working closely with the marketing and communications team to align marketing campaigns and activities with key stages of client pursuits. Building collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders to support the sales process and in particular the content, relevance, and currency of the Bid Library. Maintaining a deep knowledge and understanding of the FM market and Bellrock competitors, ensuring solution design is aligned with new technology and service delivery trends. Being an expert in Bellrock products and services and becoming self-sufficient in owning the bid production and review processes. Building relationships with and engaging the Operations team to assist in creating winning solutions, deals, and customer proposals. What does it take?
