-Manage a portfolio of clients, including partnerships, sole traders and high net worth individuals.
-Advise commercial farming businesses on both business and personal tax issues.
-Build and maintain client relationships and provide a high level of client service.
-Effectively manage, motivate, mentor and develop other members of the tax team and offer a professional role model, as well as working closely with the Farms and Estates accounts team.
-Understand technical matters and present them in a clear and practical way.
-Support Partners on advisory projects and implementation of complex tax planning arrangements.
for farmers and landowners, including capital gains tax, inheritance tax and succession planning.
-Actively develop the business, winning work by proactively managing existing clients, and targeting new clients.
-Be involved in formal and informal pitching procedures.
-Establish a strong network of contacts, internally and externally, including agents, solicitors, bank managers and other professionals working in the rural sector.
