Great opportunity for a Solution Architect with experience of cloud application architecture to join one of Manchester’s most historic retail companies which has been trading for well over 100 years.

As a Solution Architect you’d join a large technology department and would play a pivotal role working with the tribe responsible for key microservices including payments, orders, promotions and shopping cart capabilities.
You’d work alongside multidisciplinary teams of Product Owners, Delivery Managers and Software Engineers and would be responsible for embedding into squads to ensure solutions are built in line with standards and align with the technology roadmap.
Skills:
Experience as an Application Architect (ideally in retail or ecommerce)
Proven AWS experience (ideally AWS Certified Solution Architect)
Experience designing microservices and managing interdependencies
In return they're looking to offer a starting salary of up to £65,000 alongside company benefits including 25% annual bonus, 8% pension, private medical cover and the option to regularly work flexibly/remotely.
