Providing an efficient and quality accounting service to our clients. Offering a professional and skilled approach to financial administration, management and reporting for our clients’ yachts. Requirement to be able to understand each yacht’s income and expenses, create budgets and provide clear and concise variance analysis to each client. This role can offer progression into other areas of yacht management which complements this service. Job accountabilities:
Day-to-day contact with owners, owner representatives, captains and other crew members as required Regular client reporting (monthly/quarterly) Budgeting Update of regular systems including cloud-based software Frequent administration of invoices and payments including urgent requests Regular bank, card and cash reconciliations Charter accounting including charter sales invoices, managing fiscal reps, local VAT returns and other related returns Other duties:
Support other areas of yacht services including but not exclusively crew employment & payroll Work alongside the yacht management team to problem solve and offer additional services as and when required Support the corporate accounting function ensuring processes are aligned for financial statement returns and cash flow management Offer operational management services if required Attendance to conferences and shows as required Required skills:
Travel to other Praxis offices as required (mainly Malta & Guernsey currently). Travel to clients/events, worldwide, as required. Desirable to be part qualified in accounting. Additional information:
