Clark Wood, accountancy practice recruitment specialists, are working with a well-regarded independent firm of chartered accountants who are now looking to add an adept and ambitious Semi Senior Accountant / Part Qualified Accountant to their team.
The successful person will undertake a varied general practice role and will be responsible for preparing accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships as well as the preparation of the associated tax returns. You will also be involved in the completion of bookkeeping work for clients as well as the preparation of VAT returns.
You will have experience of working in a varied practice position and may be AAT Qualified (or at the final stages) or may have already begun studying towards the ACCA or ACA qualification.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Preparation of personal and corporate tax computations
Bookkeeping work for clients
Preparation of periodic VAT returns Liaising with clients to resolve queries where necessary
Skills:
AAT Qualified or ACCA / ACA Students
Practice experience is essential
