The Trust is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, focused and proactive individual to the role of Cost Accountant within the Finance team. The post-holder will be responsible for supporting the Senior Costing Accountant in the maintenance of the Trust Patient Level Costing (PLICS) model for Service Line Reporting and National Cost Collection exercise. Main duties of the job: Preparation and review of activity and cost data, updating methods of cost allocation, apportionment and absorption to reflect service delivery. The post-holder will ensure that costed outputs, routinely produced in line with agreed deadlines are accurate and compliant with costing standards. Excellent IT skills are essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving credentials. Flexible working options:
