Luminex Technical Product Manager (UK)

·
Full time
We are one of the world’s leading wholesalers of professional lighting, audio, rigging, and video to the worlds of film, television, concert, theatre, and events. We are looking for a Luminex Technical Product Manager to act as the “go to” expert for our customers, users, and in-house teams. This is a varied role - you could be training a lighting crew, supporting a show, helping design a system, or demonstrating a switch. You will have an excellent knowledge of lighting control systems and networking, as well as a clear understanding of how a lighting system goes together. We don’t expect you to know everything, but you will be keen to learn and will actively seek answers when you don’t have them to hand. This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the industry’s leading brands, acting as the first point of contact and building long-term trust with its ever-growing user base. The role

You will be the first point of call for any technical questions and training. You will help our own teams, customers, and users choose the best options to design systems that work for them. You will be a brand champion – happy to demonstrate, train, and support. You will provide market feedback to Luminex to help them constantly improve. The person

You will have an excellent understanding of lighting control systems and networking. You will be comfortable dealing with people – whether training or supporting them. You will enjoy learning and be keen to constantly develop your knowledge. You will be calm under pressure and tenacious in solving problems. You will thrive in an environment where no two days are the same. The company

We are a strong privately held company that has been in business for over 50 years and believe that people are our biggest asset. We aim to build long-term relationships with our clients and our suppliers, based on mutual trust. We work with some of our industry's leading brands and some that we aim to get there. We work in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and exciting industry where “the show must go on.” We have sister companies around the world that share our goals and vision. Please only apply for this role if you are able to work in our High Wycombe or Leeds office.
