I am currently looking to speak with an engineer who will take up the position of Senior Telecoms Engineer for a leading engineering company based in London working on mixed carbon capture/hydrogen projects.
Involvement in ranging from concept studies to detailed design, offers a diverse and engaging workload. Projects span across various industries, with a focus on areas like Green Energy, Nuclear, and Oil and Gas.
This is a hybrid role with 2 or 3 days based at the London office.
Salary:
£50,000 - £80,000 + Bonus + Benefits + Hybrid Duties: Preparation and verification of telecom documents, including data sheets, specifications, system modification scope of work, design basis, and equipment index. Review and checking of telecom drawings such as cable block diagrams, architecture diagrams, wiring diagrams, interconnection diagrams, cable schedules, equipment layouts, and earthing diagrams. Provide input to deliverables for other departments, including design basis, material requisitions, layouts, load calculations, and control philosophies. Inter-discipline review of plot plans, piping GA drawings, electrical diagrams, HVAC layouts, hazardous area classifications, and F&G layouts. Procurement assistance through material requisitions and bid evaluations for telecom equipment. Review vendor drawings and support site surveys and risk reviews. Participate in proposal activities, technical clarifications, and site commissioning support.
