The role: We are looking for an experienced Head of Cyber Security and Infrastructure professional with significant experience of implementing and overseeing infrastructure maintenance and upgrades. Reporting directly to the IT Director, the role requires both hands-on administrator tasks and to be part of the IT Leadership team to provide strategy and guidance on the IT estate. The role is fully office based from our Norwich office. Key responsibilities: Stay updated on emerging security trends, threats, and best practices to provide a robust security strategy aligned with the business needs Provide infrastructure vision, enable innovation and leverage IT trends that can create business value consistent with Moneyfacts' requirements and expectations Effective provision, support and maintenance of all IT hardware and third-party software, either directly or through service contracts Ensure 24/7 availability of services Out of hours working as required for support and maintenance. Essential Skills and Experience: Previous experience in a similar role Experience of mentoring junior staff members Strong written and verbal communication skills Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of working with the relevant technologies: Next-gen firewall technologies Virtualisation of both Server and Desktop environments using VMWare Windows Servers/Desktop operating systems Azure Active Directory and Group Policy Networking (Routers, Switches and Firewalls), VLANs and IP Routing Microsoft Exchange configured as a hybrid with M365 Desirable Skills and Experience: Educated to degree level, ideally with a formal qualification in a relevant area Ability to work well under pressure A passion for technology and a desire to keep up with the latest developments Previous experience working with Cloud Technologies Salary: Competitive salary commensurate with skills and experience Hours: Full time 37.5 hrs per week Monday - Friday. There is a requirement to be flexible with start and finish times to fulfil specific duties of this role. Fully office based.
