We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join our civil litigation team specialising in professional negligence and general commercial/civil litigation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of legal principles and practices within civil litigation across a range of values including small claims to multi-track. You will provide legal assistance within the Civil Litigation department, undertaking own fee earning work and providing a profitable contribution to the work of the department. We work Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm, offering 26 days holiday, hybrid working, plus Bank Holidays, Pension, Company Events and a commitment to Training and Development opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Experience of managing caseload of litigation matters Providing updates on caseloads to management as required. Research and keep up to date with changes in the law and feedback to the team and Clients. Draft new documents for the Case Management system as required. Taking and making Client phone calls. Responding and actioning Client queries. Arranging Client interviews to take instructions. Analysing feedback from Clients, applying any changes and communicating those changes to the team Conduct matters on behalf of Clients in line with their instructions Requirements: Legally qualified (CILEx Level 6/ LPC) Experience of managing caseload of litigation matters Ability to demonstrate specialist knowledge in Civil Litigation law.
