Job Description Your Role An opportunity has arisen for a Site Services Team Leader based at our Avonmouth site. The main purpose of this role is to manage the Site Services Team and support all departments to achieve the highest standards of cleaning and hygiene on site, including aspects of pest control and waste management. Your Responsibilities Working safely, including review and training out of relevant risk SOPs and participation in safe working programs. Train and develop Site Services team members to enable them to work safely and efficiently, enabling progression where possible. Effective control of COSHH requirements (with EHS Manager). Helping to ensure a high standard of cleaning and hygiene on site to always achieve audit readiness (including GMP audits and accurate record keeping). Work with Pest Control Contractor to ensure effective pest control management and system progression. Planning and completion of the hygiene schedule including effective supervision of the hygiene team and communication with department heads to identify and focus on priorities. Ensure a high standard of cleanliness of site facilities including office cleaning, toilets, locker room, canteen, etc. Ensure site grounds are kept to a high standard including litter, general debris, and building perimeter weeding, etc. Helping to ensure effective waste and environmental control including good segregation and disposal procedures. Work with the EHS Manager, ensure effective coordination with the waste recycling contractor including the monitoring of costs and accuracy of paperwork. Control of ‘on site’ laundry services including the monitoring of cost and accuracy of paperwork. Effective control of the relevant consumable stocks. Cover for Site Services Supervisor. Work as part of the wider management team to influence other team members on challenging food safety standards for improvements within the HACCP system/team. Effectively writing purchase orders and control of stock of consumable items. Your Profile Good general standard of secondary education. Food or Manufacturing factory work experience. Supervisory/Team management experience. Familiarity with and able to use major IT software systems. Basic Food Hygiene Qualification (RIPH). RSPH Level 1 award in Pest Management. Good communication skills. Team player with good communication skills. Flexible approach to varied work requirements. Ability to plan and prioritize tasks/workload.
