Our client, a leading manufacturer of plastic pipes, is on the lookout for an enthusiastic Quality Controller to work on the night shift in their Ashburton branch. This role is Monday to Friday, 11:00pm to 7:00am and will be an ongoing temporary position with the intention of becoming permanent once reliability is proven. The hourly rate is $26.27 plus allowances. Duties will include: Testing of materials and recording data, Setting up and monitoring plastics machines, Performing quality assurance tests in the lab, Working closely with the manufacturing team to improve production. The successful applicant will: Have basic knowledge and understanding of machines, Be a team player with great communication skills, Be physically fit and able, Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
