About the Role: As a Teacher of English, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality English education and inspiring students to develop a love for literature and language. You will work alongside a team of dedicated professionals to create engaging and effective lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students. Key Responsibilities of English Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students, ensuring all students are motivated and challenged. Teach a range of subjects to students aged 11-16. Organize and supervise extracurricular English activities and events, fostering a sense of curiosity and enthusiasm for the subject. Monitor and assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external partners to enhance the English curriculum and support student development. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate. Promote health and safety in all activities, ensuring students understand the importance of safe practices. Requirements of English Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience in teaching English is essential. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues. The ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best in English. Commitment to promoting a love for literature and a curiosity about the world of language.
