Job Summary: NoBACZ Healthcare develops gel barrier wound care products incorporating patented technology for veterinary and livestock applications. We are seeking a creative, dedicated, and detail-oriented laboratory-based scientist to join our team in Cambridge as NoBACZ expands its product pipeline. The successful candidate will be involved in the development of new product formulations for veterinary and human applications. In addition, the role will involve responsibility for performing microbiological assays, quality control, formulation and product stability testing, and various analytical tasks. This role is crucial to the success of our pipeline expansion and in maintaining the integrity and quality of our products. Key Responsibilities: Product Development:

Development of new formulations based on NoBACZ’s novel technology. Microbiological Assays:

Design and conduct specialized microbiological tests to assist with product development. Quality Control:

Perform quality control tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure they meet specified criteria. Product Stability:

Devise and conduct stability testing to ensure product efficacy over time. Analytical Work:

Utilize various analytical techniques and instruments to analyze samples and generate accurate data. Documentation:

Maintain detailed and accurate records of all tests and procedures performed. Data Analysis:

Process in vitro data and support the wider company with analysis of additional data from field testing of prototypes. Equipment Maintenance:

Ensure all laboratory equipment is properly maintained and calibrated. Compliance:

Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Microbiology, or a closely related field. A PhD in a related field would be advantageous, but not essential. Previous experience in a laboratory setting is essential. Experience in product development would be desirable. Experience and a strong understanding of microbiological and analytical techniques. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software.
