Hawkes Resourcing Group require an Estimator with Painting experience for a position in the City of London. Previous experience essential. Must have the right to work in the UK. Our client is looking for you to join their dynamic and expanding team as a key Estimator, playing a crucial role in the estimation process for commercial projects in Central London. Meet customers, attend job sites, compile and submit RFI’s, and complete competitive bids. Create bills of quantities using professional software like Blue Beam or Plan Swift. Strategically follow up on bids, creatively utilizing incentives to secure projects. Coordinate with Project Managers for a seamless handover upon project acquisition. Develop trusted relationships with clients, property managers, strata council members, inspectors, etc. Collaborate with Estimators, Project Managers, and Foreman teams for effective project handovers. Work closely with sales and marketing to identify market trends and pursue potential leads. Maintain clear, proactive, and continuous communication with customers, project managers, and Foreman teams. Handle financial administration tasks, including forecasting project costs. Cultivate knowledge in products, systems, safety, and industry trends to maintain our position as an industry leader. Estimate potential projects, understand bid specifications & drawings, and assess site-specific requirements. Experience and Skills:

A team player with a hungry & humble attitude. Customer-centric approach, eager to please and serve others. Knowledge and/or Professional Experience in painting or another construction trade is preferred. Systematic and organized approach towards work. Strong technical abilities to read specifications, technical & legal documents, and prepare professional bid proposals and estimates. Project logistical knowledge, including understanding the steps and stages of a project. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet. Excellent relational/people skills with customers, Foremen & their crew, Remdal team, and all other stakeholders. Proficient in office & computer skills, including Excel, Outlook, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint. Comfortable working both in-office and on the road. Digital takeoffs and a passion for technological advances in estimating are assets. Additional Perk:
