Our client is seeking a Business Acceptance Analyst to join their dynamic and supportive global team. This role offers the opportunity to manage risk in relation to new business acceptance, ensuring compliance with professional rules and laws. This role is a 12-month fixed term contract. Dynamic and varied role within a supportive global team Focus on managing firm's risk regarding new business acceptance Ample learning opportunities for ambitious candidates What you'll do: As a Business Acceptance Analyst, your role will be multifaceted and crucial to the firm's operations. You will be responsible for initiating and analysing conflict checks for new business, conducting thorough due diligence on clients, advising lawyers on legal and reputational risks, and assisting with various Legal & Risk projects. Your work will ensure that the firm's reputation is preserved while complying with all relevant laws. Initiating and analysing conflict checks for new business Conducting comprehensive client due diligence/anti-money laundering checks on new clients Advising the firm’s lawyers on new client acceptance, client identification procedures, anti-money laundering queries, sanctions and reputational risk issues Advising on the firm’s client engagement terms policies, procedures and best practices What you bring: The ideal Business Acceptance Analyst candidate brings strong analytical skills, a 'can do' attitude, and a team-oriented mindset. You are systematic, well-organised, and detail-oriented. You have the ability to cope under pressure, work independently, and prioritise tasks efficiently. Your strong communication skills enable you to develop relationships with staff at all levels. Experience in a legal or financial environment would be beneficial.
