Community Development and Engagement Manager Advert 2025 We are recruiting for a Community Development and Engagement Manager to work at the Sunlight Centre in Gillingham. It is an exciting role where you can bring all your creativity and communication skills to help with a worthwhile service. You will be overseeing several important community services in the Sunlight Centre, including: Medway Men-in Sheds Project Co-ordinator Health and Wellbeing Co-ordinator Marketing and Shaw Trust Support Officer Employability and Confidence Coach Anger Management Trainer Radio Station Technician Café Supervisor You will ensure the safe running of the services, covering finance, recruitment, fundraising, marketing and day-to-day management. 20 hours per week Salary:

£29,640 based on 37.5 hours per week – pro rata for 20 hrs pw - £15,808 We are a friendly, down-to-earth Centre that is embedded in the local community, offering a safe place for all people to socialise and be heard. You will: Have a Prince 2 qualification Have experience of managing Community services Have excellent communication skills with an ability to work with Trustees, Staff and Stakeholders Have a positive can-do attitude Have an enhanced EDBS on the update service or be prepared to have one done If you think this is you, we would love to hear from you.
