Family Solicitor - Stafford Salary: DOE £30000-£50000 About the Role: Our Stafford office is looking for a skilled Family Solicitor to join the team. In this role, you will manage your own caseload within the family law team, handling complex and time-sensitive matters while delivering expert legal advice. Responsibilities Include: Managing a caseload within family law, including but not limited to: Private Law Children Matters, Divorce, Financial Settlements, Separation, Domestic Violence, Pre and Post-Nuptial Agreements, and Cohabitee disputes. Providing legal advice to individuals and families. Handling new instructions and taking on new cases. Conducting legal research and offering advocacy services. Assisting the Director on occasion. Managing client enquiries and converting them into instructions. Engaging in networking and business development to generate new work. About You: Ideally, 3-5+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) as a Family Solicitor, though other qualifications (e.g., CILEX, CLC) will also be considered. Experience managing your own caseload in family law matters. A strong commercial understanding of business targets and how they impact the practice. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. A good academic background, with training at a leading national or regional firm being an advantage. Strong IT skills. A deep understanding of family law and experience managing privately funded work. High levels of initiative and the drive to provide a high standard of client service. Strong organizational and time management skills. A commercially driven attitude and the ability to bring in work through business development.
