Reporting directly to the founders, you will take full ownership of the finance function, helping to establish processes and systems while supporting the company's ambitious growth plans. From AP and AR setup to strategic planning, this is a hands-on role that requires a proactive and adaptable approach. Key Responsibilities:
Establish and lead the finance function to align with the company's growth strategy. Manage supplier relationships and ensure smooth payment processing. Prepare and present monthly management accounts and financial reports. Perform balance sheet reconciliations and analyse budget variances. Handle budget preparation, VAT returns, and bank reconciliations. Own the year-end accounting processes and collaborate with external auditors. Partner with departments such as Buying, Merchandising, IT, and Warehouse to support business goals. Manage cash flow and optimise payment terms to support financial stability. Provide insights to improve business systems and processes. Qualifications:
CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified or Finalist. Retail and e-commerce experience is essential. Experience in a start-up or SME environment is advantageous. A hands-on, adaptable, and proactive approach.
