£50k-£55k plus benefits This busy and expanding practice based in Sheffield needs you! Are you a senior engineer who has extensive experience designing and preparing detailed drawings for surface water and sewer networks? This could be perfect for you. Our client is seeking a senior civil engineer who will be involved in a diverse array of projects, spanning both residential and commercial sectors. Responsibilities:
Designing and preparing detailed drawings for surface water and sewer networks, along with external ground levels. Developing highway designs, including vertical and horizontal geometry, with experience in S278, S38, S104, and SuDS design. Utilizing specialist software for infrastructure and drainage design, such as AutoCAD, PDS, Microdrainage, Causeway Flow, and Site 3D. Producing technical schedules to support project requirements. Representing the company in client meetings and collaborating with other professionals and suppliers as needed. Managing projects within agreed timelines and budgets, while ensuring service and design decisions are met. Communicating effectively with Directors and the team to align project goals with the objectives of both the client and the company. Coordinating with team members and keeping relevant staff informed of client matters. Mentoring and guiding Graduate Engineers where necessary, fostering their professional development. A degree in civil/structural engineering is required and, if not already, you should be keen to gain Chartership with ICE. You will play an integral role in shaping the future of projects and be an important member of the team from day one!
