Our client based in Doncaster is looking for an experienced Lead Engineer. You will have the overall responsibility for leading the maintenance team to maintain and repair all equipment.
The role:
Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of production process, equipment and technology Technical support and troubleshooting of production issues Manage the design, specification and ordering of equipment, liaising with technical staff Lead ongoing and new projects Maintain and build working relationships Monitor the status of projects to the management team Continuous improvements of manufacturing processes Provide hands-on engineering support to the maintenance team
The candidate:
A relevant engineering qualification (HNC, HND Degree) Experience within medium to heavy manufacturing in a manufacturing environment Experience in a lead/supervisory role Understand Health and Safety procedures Strong IT skills, working knowledge of MS Office suite Logical thinker Organisational skills (prioritise and work under pressure)
