Excellent opportunity for a Group Accountant for my client based in Newmarket. Reporting to the financial controller, you will have good technical experience and knowledge around audit and corporation tax. The role offers good scope, and the business is growing, so it certainly offers further opportunity moving forward. You will ideally have experience in the following areas:
Statutory reporting and audit process — IFRS experience preferential
Maintaining processes to ensure compliance with statutory requirements / controls and International Financial Reporting Standards across the Group
Group banking — cash flow management support
Review of monthly management accounts and group consolidation
Corporation tax filing for the UK Group and wider Group tax affairs; corporate tax experience preferential
Budget preparation and monitoring process
Accounting for Group share option schemes
Support all aspects of the business with financial queries and support operational decisions by providing accurate, useful, and timely financial data and reporting
You will be a qualified accountant (ICAEW/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent). CTA qualification (or equivalent) is an advantage.
