The Vacancy: We are recruiting for an additional HR Officer to join our team in Whitstable. The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the HR function in day-to-day activities including working with and giving guidance to line managers and employees. Duties and Responsibilities include: Provide expert coaching and advice to managers on HR matters including policy, procedures, employment law, employee relations, and organisational values. Support line managers with disciplinary, grievance & absence management cases. Work collaboratively with employees, managers, and Occupational Health to promote and maintain the health and wellbeing of employees. Assist colleagues and managers to develop their skills in HR knowledge and people management. Support employees based in the UK but working directly for another Amphenol site around the world. Make effective use of the HR Information System (HRIS) to support managers, monitor potential issues, and provide high-quality reports where required. Ensure the HRIS system is utilised to its full potential in supporting the business and HR Team. Take an active role in researching, writing, consulting on, and implementing new or updated HR policies/strategies. Update & support relevant managers with monthly headcount and forecasting data. Take a leading role in recruitment activities to ensure processes run smoothly & our practices meet the needs of the various functions/levels. Develop effective relationships with recruitment agencies where required. Ensure contractual terms and conditions are in line with current legislation and job descriptions updated as necessary. Support managers in identifying training and development requirements. Provide training/coaching for managers on HR-related topics. Support the HR team on a range of projects and initiatives as they arise. The Benefits:
