We are looking to recruit an

Operations Director

to join one of the largest uPVC Windows and Door manufacturers in the UK.

Priding themselves on quality and service, they are looking for someone who can continue to enhance their current high standards and ensure the continued success of the business and ensure its growth plans are able to be delivered.

Responsibilities:

Ensuring that the operational capabilities are aligned to business requirements and enable us to respond with agility to market conditions and opportunities. Develop and execute risk management strategies to systematically identify, assess and mitigate operational risks across the business. Develop strategies to optimise operational processes and reduce costs while maintaining quality standards. Complete monthly evaluations against KPIs and adjust accordingly, allocating the company's resources, materials and equipment to the most productive functions. Oversee all procurement activities, identifying opportunities to increase value for money, transparency, supply chain efficiencies, and savings. Ensure supply chain performance through delivery, capacity, supplier, and inventory management. Govern contract management, supplier performance, and relationship management for all supplier agreements, reviewing at least on an annual basis. Oversee bi-annual stock takes across the business and the smooth implementation of perpetual inventory. Provide leadership and direction for the logistics team on best practice methodologies and support through business process changes. Review the logistics capabilities in line with the business strategies to develop a roadmap from concept to implementation as we grow the business. Complete a cost to serve analysis for the logistics function. Ensure a safe environment for product assembly execution, and proactively address safety issues relating to personnel, visitors, facilities, equipment, and test setups. Actively promote and enforce the company safety culture and standards across the Group. Develop & own all elements of Health & Safety across all business units. Develop & control operational budgets. Direct & control warehousing & distribution functions.
