Principal Consultant - Low Carbon Fuels & Chemicals

Location: London Hybrid working (Other locations can be considered)

Are you ready to shape the future of low-carbon fuels and chemicals with your commercial expertise? We are seeking a Principal Consultant to lead and grow a consulting practice dedicated to innovative, sustainable solutions in the energy sector. This role is ideal for a leader with proven business development skills, a strategic mindset, and experience in consulting who can build and manage high-value client relationships.

About the Role: In this position, you will lead impactful projects covering every aspect of the low-carbon fuels and chemicals market, from policy advising to supply chain technology and market assessment. The focus is commercial-driving new business, securing partnerships, and developing proposals that deliver real client value. Your role will be central to building client networks, understanding evolving markets, and providing strategic insights that support clients' growth in sustainable energy.

With responsibility for both project and team leadership, you will oversee consultants, ensuring their work meets high standards and aligns with client goals. You will help position the company as a thought leader in this rapidly evolving field, supporting clients in sectors like advanced biofuels, e-fuels, recycled carbon fuels, and bio-based chemicals.

Why This Role? This is an opportunity to be at the forefront of the low-carbon energy transformation. Working in a collaborative, growth-focused team, you will have access to resources and career paths designed for professionals who want to make an impact, whether advancing to partnership, specialising further, or exploring global opportunities. Our client is offering competitive compensation, a collegiate environment, and the chance to influence the sustainable energy market significantly.

Who We're Looking For: With experience in consulting or a related field, you bring commercial acumen, leadership ability, and client-focused solutions. Expertise in low-carbon technologies or markets (e.g., hydrogen, petrochemicals, recycling) is a plus. If you thrive in business development, problem-solving, and are passionate about sustainability, this role could be the next step in your career journey.

Interested? Apply to drive sustainable change in the low-carbon fuels and chemicals industry!
