Network Security Engineer

Salary:
£56 - £60k plus 3% SIS bonus and 10% DV allowance once through
Candidates must be willing to go through SC and DV security clearance for this role.
Your role will involve:
I am looking for an ideally Cisco-qualified network specialist with multi-year knowledge of supporting deployed systems and their network environment.
Your role will involve configuring, installing, supporting and troubleshooting Cisco Switches & Routers, Cisco ASA devices, Fortinet Fortigate firewalls and Juniper based firewalls/boundary protection devices. A great opportunity to be trained on Juniper SRX if you have limited or no exposure to this already.
Your transferable skills and experience:
Configuring network devices. Previous experience with Fortinet FortiGate. Previous experience Cisco routing and switching devices. Juniper SRX experience is preferred but not essential. Demonstrable understanding of OSPF, EIGRP and BGP routing protocols. Demonstrable understanding of NAT, GRE Tunnelling protocol, DMVPN Tunnelling Protocol, Subnetting & Supernetting. Previous 3rd line troubleshooting and support experience. Network implementation in an offline environment.
