Job Overview At Select Alloys we pride ourselves on being a market leader within the Nickel and Cobalt superalloy recycling industry. As we continue to grow, looking ahead we have an exciting expansion project on the horizon. We are seeking an experienced and strategic Commercial Director to lead our commercial operations and drive growth within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business development, sales management, and cost control, ensuring that our commercial strategies align with overall company objectives. This role requires a dynamic leader who can inspire teams, foster relationships with key customers and suppliers, and develop innovative solutions to enhance our market position. Pay is dependent on individual applicant and their experience. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies to achieve business goals and drive revenue growth. Grow and expand our market reach, finding new markets to expand into and develop business relations. Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks in the industry. Establish and maintain relationships with key clients to enhance business opportunities. Liaise with Finance Director to monitor financial performance, focusing on cost control measures to optimise profitability. Collaborate with the General Manager, Operations Manager and Works Manager to ensure alignment of commercial initiatives with operational capabilities. Prepare reports for senior management on commercial performance, market conditions, and strategic recommendations. Requirements Proven experience in a senior commercial role, preferably as a Commercial Director or similar position. Must have

experiencing working in the scrap metal recycling industry, preferably previous experience working with Nickel & Cobalt superalloys. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships at all levels of the organisation. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively. A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred; an MBA would be advantageous but not essential.
