Commercial Director required in Essex
GVR Solutions are currently in the market for a Commercial Director to join one of our well-established main contractors, based in Essex. As a company, they are a £20M Turnover contractor working all around East Anglia and the Home Counties in the Retail, Healthcare, Residential, and Hospitality sectors.
Key Responsibilities for the Commercial Director:
Risk Management:
Generally across business operations. Estimating:
Estimating projects completely, overseeing others, including decisions regarding estimates to be undertaken and the forensic review of tenders upon completion, and converting the same into relevant bids. Attending post-tender interviews. Quantity Surveying:
Surveying and cost control to live projects, including overseeing others and reviewing their processes. Legal Processes:
Coordinate and manage legal processes where required, including debt recovery adjudications. Business Development:
