ABOUT THE ROLE As an experienced Company Commercial Solicitor, this role will manage client matters to a successful conclusion whilst meeting their objectives and financial expectations. The post holder will demonstrate a keen commercial acumen and a high level of commercial law knowledge. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The post holder will manage a varied caseload of complex matters that will include: Drafting standard terms for sales to consumers. Drafting and negotiating a wide range of business-to-business contracts. Drafting standard agreements including terms of sale and contracts of distribution and agency. Advising on internal structuring including shareholders’ agreements, articles of association and share classes. Acting on business asset and/or share purchases and other company disposals. Assisting with company formations and generally advising on start-ups. Advising on data protection compliance including desktop audits and time-sensitive matters as they arise. Drafting and advising on non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements. Drafting and preparing security documents including debentures and legal charges. Ensuring personal legal knowledge is kept up to date. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE You will have a minimum of 3 years PQE in a commercial law role and proven experience. Possess exceptional client care skills. Be highly motivated and able to add value to the role. Be able to operate with a minimum of supervision. Possess networking and client development skills.
