About our business

Circuit provides student laundries to 76% of the U.K’s universities and over 80% of PBSA’s. Our laundries operate on an income share basis, and we take overall responsibility for the facilities. This includes the supply and installation of the equipment, all maintenance, and the promotion and marketing of the services.

Role overview

Reporting directly to the MD, you will be responsible for increasing new business by targeting both existing and new clients across our full range of products. You will use our existing relationships to identify opportunities for growth and target new client growth.

You will work alongside our existing account management team to leverage opportunities for our partner business, which initially focuses on Fire and HVAC.

You will have the freedom to explore all areas of the student and key workers accommodation market and the autonomy to develop new strategies and marketing initiatives to grow our revenue.

Key tasks

Responsible for researching prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursuing leads, and following through to a successful agreement.

Managing large complex deals to multisite and larger organisations while providing a consultative approach in dealing with client requirements.

Understanding target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts, and which market strategies can be used to attract clients.

Collaborating with the regional account management team to plan and execute strategic account plans to protect and grow our revenue.

Developing and delivering presentations to secure new business.

Dealing with senior group decision makers, procurement teams, and tender processes.

Knowledge and Skills

You must possess a high level of initiative and self-motivation.

You will have knowledge and experience in dealing with larger organisations and have a consultative approach in dealing with client requirements.

You must be tenacious and have strong negotiation and influencing skills.

The ideal candidate will also be commercially astute.

Proficient level of computer skills.

Good knowledge of the English language, both written and verbal.

You will have the ability to manage yourself without supervision and provide clear strategy plans to the management team.

Experience

Experience in solution/consultative sales into FM, education, healthcare, hospitality, and leisure sectors is highly desirable.

You will have experience in delivering contractual service solutions into a complex and multi-decision maker marketplace. Negotiation and presentation skills are fundamental to gaining new business.

You will have a successful track record in selling products using a financial justification to demonstrate value to your customers.

Leveraging support from a broad group of colleagues to develop sales initiatives.

Demonstrate an ability to develop new markets.

Highly driven with a desire to achieve and earn.

Ability to deliver results under pressure.

Resourceful, with the ability to work independently.

Ability to identify new opportunities and build strong commercial strategies.

Qualifications

Full driving licence as the role involves UK travel.
