In the People in Deals team at PwC, we support our clients by deploying Pensions and HR expertise in an M&A environment. We deliver end-to-end pensions and HR services to help our clients achieve success across the entire deal lifecycle, delivering value through Mergers, Acquisitions & Integrations, Separations, Restructuring programmes and an array of other transactions and transformation initiatives. About the role As a Manager in the pre-deal team, you'll help our clients with diligence on pensions, equity and HR related elements as well as pensions / HR support after the deal has signed. The role involves proactively assisting in the management of both internal and external networks, reporting directly to Senior Managers and above. The candidate will participate in the financial management of projects and engage in business development activities to identify and research opportunities for expanding our propositions. Contributions to the development of both personal and team technical acumen are required, along with responsibilities for training, coaching, and supervising staff. Building internal relationships and promoting the PwC brand are also key aspects of the position. Additionally, the role includes assisting clients in valuing pensions and people-related issues as part of business valuations, as well as supporting clients in negotiations with other parties. You will become an expert on global pensions and HR issues. What your days will look like: Advise on deals ranging from small domestic transactions to global multi-billion-pound deals. Work with clients across all industries, including Pharma, Retail & Consumer, Industrial Products, Energy, Financial Services, Media & Technology, and Private Equity (PE). In the People in Deals team, people are central to nearly everything we do on a daily basis, either directly or indirectly. Partner with teams across PwC, both locally and globally.
