We have a great opportunity for a Lead Procurement Manager to join a successful team, helping to lead and develop various elements of the Property category including the strategy for Distribution Automation. We're looking for an experienced procurement manager who will work closely with our senior colleagues to create, build, and develop category plans in line with Tesco’s key objectives! You will be responsible for

Delivering high savings targets through robust sourcing events while ensuring suppliers meet operational requirements. Ensuring positive relationships with suppliers & colleagues to support and deliver plans aligned to category procurement strategies. Developing and delivering procurement strategies that support Tesco business objectives. Writing and delivering the procurement category plan for Distribution Automation. Consistently tracking and reporting on savings targets for specified sub-categories. Leading supplier reviews and acting as the point of contact for contract-related issues. Assessing opportunities to improve scale and working with Tesco International teams. Reviewing existing and potential new suppliers for sustainability to minimize risk and optimize service. Building and developing supplier relationships to ensure continued suitability and value across the organization. You will need

Procurement expertise with a background in managing GSNFR categories preferable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and mentor a team of 2 Procurement Managers. Experience in developing talent to grow our capability. Procurement management, contract management, and negotiation skills with experience in managing large multi-million pound sourcing events. Ability to bring new concepts and ideas to life. Capability to lead multiple projects simultaneously, driving innovation across the category. About us
