We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking, and experienced Architectural Draftsperson to join our team. If you want to be involved in the entire design process from client meetings and concept design through to construction drawings and delivery of building consent, then this could be the opportunity for you. In this role you will be responsible for: Drafting a wide range of projects in collaboration with others in the team Attending client, site and consultant meetings as required Management of job workflow, from developed design through to building consent issue Communicating with councils, consultant planners, engineers, and other consultants Preparing documentation for resource consents and building consents SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES Do you have an eye for design, a creative flare, and a passion for architecture? Then we want you! In addition, we will be looking for the following skills & attributes: A passion for architecture and an eye for detail Experience within the NZ construction industry with a minimum of 5 years of experience Either a Bachelor of Architectural Studies or a National Diploma of Architectural Technology A desire to learn and adapt Previous experience in overseeing projects from design to completion Strong communication & interpersonal skills Great initiative Good time management skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively Good working knowledge of the NZ Building Code and NZS3604 Comprehensive knowledge of district planning requirements Common sense and a practical understanding of construction methodology Proficiency in ArchiCAD, preferably ArchiCAD 25 or above LBP preferred The right to work in NZ Must like dogs!
