Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic professional to lead the Environment Service team. With waste, recycling, and green spaces at the top of the Council’s priorities, this is an exciting time to work with a passionate team committed to making the Borough cleaner and greener.

You will be a confident project and contract manager with the ability to deliver service improvements and manage high-profile front-line waste and grounds maintenance contracts.

Communication will be a key part of the role, and excellent communication skills will be required to lead and coordinate different services, stakeholders, and agencies to promote a cleaner environment and attractive green spaces to support the borough’s wellbeing. The post holder will also be responsible for ensuring accurate and updated information is provided to our communities on our key services.
