An Accounts Senior is required to supervise a team in an accounting and finance department, ensuring the accurate preparation of financial statements and providing expert advice on tax matters. Description Supervising the accounting team and overseeing their work Preparing accurate financial statements in accordance with relevant legislation Providing expert advice on tax matters to the team and clients Ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry regulations Assisting in the development and implementation of financial strategies Maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders Identifying and implementing process improvements Contributing to team meetings and supporting the ongoing development of team members Profile A successful Accounts Senior should have: A professional qualification in accounting or finance (ACCA or ACA) Excellent understanding of financial regulations and legislation Strong leadership and team management skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions Job Offer A competitive salary in the range of £31,500 - £38,500 per annum An opportunity to work in a vibrant location in SHEFFIELD A chance to be part of a professional services industry leader A supportive and inclusive work culture If you believe you are the right fit for this Accounts Senior role, we encourage you to apply.
