Permanent I am currently looking for an accomplished Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to provide accurate guidance to the company on all Health and Safety related matters. You will ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and legislation, implementing and managing long-term Health and Safety initiatives while driving a culture of continuous improvement. With experience within a busy industrial manufacturing environment, you will monitor industry trends and H&S legislation changes, advising management on necessary adjustments to policies and procedures, and providing expert advice on H&S related issues. As the primary point of contact for Health and Safety matters, your key responsibilities will include: Preparing and submitting auditory reports when required, managing internal & external auditing processes. Conducting regular risk assessments, generating site-specific Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and spot check audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. Recommending preventative measures and implementing corrective actions, monitoring the effectiveness of improvements. Investigating incidents, accidents, and near misses, developing strategies to prevent recurrence. While promoting a positive culture towards health, safety, environment, and sustainability, you will ensure all health and safety best practices, policies, and procedures are followed to mitigate risk across the business. Qualifications: Degree qualified or equivalent in Quality / H&S, with experience in an environment conforming to management standards such as ISO9001 / ISO14001. Ideally, you will have Six Sigma qualifications and proven experience delivering operational excellence and continuous improvement projects, along with lead auditor duties and comprehensive knowledge of the manufacturing industry.
