The Head of Fire and Building Safety will be instrumental in managing and leading all aspects of fire and building safety across a diverse property portfolio and for external customers. The role will also entail creating and implementing safety policies in line with the latest regulations. Employing over 2000 dedicated staff members, they are committed to providing top-notch repairs and maintenance services, ensuring the safety and comfort of their clients. Description Leading the development and implementation of fire and building safety strategies. Ensuring all properties are compliant with the latest fire and building safety regulations. Managing a team of safety specialists to deliver top-quality service. Conducting regular risk assessments and safety audits across properties. Establishing strong relationships with stakeholders and regulatory bodies. Implementing training programmes to boost staff knowledge and competence in safety matters. Providing expert advice on fire and building safety matters to the board. Overseeing the management of fire and building safety incidents, ensuring swift resolution. Profile A successful 'Head of Fire and Building Safety' should have: A degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Fire Safety or Facilities Management. Proven experience in a leadership role within the property industry. Strong knowledge of fire and building safety regulations. Experience in managing a diverse property portfolio. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to form strong relationships with stakeholders and regulatory bodies. Job Offer A competitive salary of between 90,000 and 96,000 per annum, depending on experience. A comprehensive benefits package, including a car allowance. Generous holiday leave.
