We are hiring for a
Senior Accountant
to join our Record to Report Finance team. This role will be based at our Finance Hub in Basingstoke and reports into the Finance Manager - R2R on a permanent basis. This is a hybrid role for those looking for more flexibility in their working week.
You will oversee and coordinate period end close activities, including the completion of balance sheet reconciliations such as intercompany transactions. You will take ownership of end-to-end process documentation, ensuring comprehensive and up-to-date records. You will also prepare financial and management reports, ensuring compliance with regulations. You will have a small team that you will develop and support daily.
Supervising accounting activities across legal entities, you will maintain proper systems of accounts and records. Additionally, the role involves managing journal processing in collaboration with site and hub teams, preparing internal financial statements, and generating information to support the preparation of Audited Financial Statements, all while regularly measuring operational and financial performance against budgeted results.
Qualifications & Experience Experience working in a shared services role preferably within a similar operating model and size of organisation Fully-Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA with considerable experience within finance role Extensive experience of month end close process People management experience is crucial Experience with complex financial systems landscape and data structures Experience of process improvements and standardising finance processes Evidence of building and maintaining strong relationships with key business stakeholders Proactive individual with the ability to both operate strategically and tactically and able to effectively manage multiple challenges whilst maintaining high quality throughout Acts as a key member of organisations leadership community, role models company behaviours and contributes to the achievement of the wider business strategy Benefits
