Your Role

The Leaf Quality Controller will be responsible for gathering harvest quality data from our state-of-the-art vertical farm (baby leaf production) on our main site, Pepperness, near Sandwich in Kent. As quality is fundamental in everything we do, you will be working closely with all the production departments: the agronomy team, operation team, and technical team.

Role Description

Collecting leaf samples post-harvest keeping full traceability for each sample Accurately measuring, counting, and recording any defects Advise the harvest team on cutting height to optimise yields and quality Assessing every batch and segregate them in line with the QAs Feedback to the agronomy team and technical team any relevant observations Assist other teams (agronomy, technical or operations) as required

Package

Competitive salary Full time role, contract position for 6 months initial fixed term contract Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off shift pattern; 0700-1815 Role is based at the farm near Sandwich
