The Tower School is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in Essex.
This part-time role, 5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive multi-disciplinary therapy team.
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to implement a holistic, therapeutic approach to supporting our pupils with occupational and sensory needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and young people who have intellectual disabilities and/or autism, as well as experience in lecturing/training and managing data. Implement a holistic, therapeutic approach to supporting pupils with occupational and sensory needs Undertake standardised and non-standardised assessments, bespoke interventions, and prepare relevant documentation Provide information and training to staff, commissioners, and other agencies The successful candidate will be expected to work within our well-established and supportive multi-disciplinary therapy team, including Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and therapy assistants. We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits including life assurance, pension scheme, and access to mental health support services. Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need: A BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy Experience of working with adults and/or children who have an intellectual disability and/or autism Substantial and relevant post-qualification experience with children and young people Experience of lecturing/training and managing data A full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle About Us:
