Our Financial Services client based in The East Midlands is seeking a new Head of Operational Risk. The salary on offer is up to £110k plus benefits, and the organisation offers a hybrid working arrangement.
The Role:
As the Head of Operational Risk, you will lead and improve our clients' Operational Risk practices, aligning with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. As a specialist in Operational, Technology, and Conduct Risk, you will provide accurate advice on all aspects of Operational Risk within the organisation. Key Skills / Experience Required:
Significant experience in a senior Operational Risk role within financial services, including: Supporting business areas with operational controls Attending risk committees Overseeing Risk Event Reporting, RCSA, Risk Appetite, KRIs, and Risk Registers Deep understanding of Operational Risk Frameworks and regulatory requirements Insight into other risk types (e.g., Credit Risk, Financial Risk) and their interaction with Operational Risks An inquisitive mindset and a commitment to staying updated on topics like Cybersecurity, Climate Change risk, and geopolitical risks Confidence in liaising with a wide range of stakeholders.
