Technical Manager Fire Doors Job Title: Technical Manager Fire Doors Job Reference Number: 318146-9306-24333 Industry Sector: Timber Door Manufacturer, Timber Doors, Fire Doors, GAI, FDIS, Fire Door Inspection, Warringtonfire, Q-Mark, EXAP, Compliance, Technical, Product Development Location: Remote working Remuneration: £30,000 - £50,000 + up to 10% bonus Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package The role of the Technical Manager Fire Doors will involve: Overseeing the fire/smoke & security test programme Contributing technical input for new product development Ensuring compliance with all current legislation, policies, procedures, and compliance standards (Warringtonfire & Q-Mark) Carrying out elements of AutoCAD design Managing data to justify if further test evidence is commercially beneficial Providing technical support both in-house and externally as a product guru for fire door technical solutions The ideal applicant will be a Technical Manager Fire Doors with: Technical experience within the timber fire door market sector Experience working for a timber fire door manufacturer or fire certification testing house in a technical, compliance, product development, or R&D environment Familiarity with Field of Applications, Q-Mark Fire Door Audits, and EXAP reports GAI or FRID (fire door inspector qualification) may be advantageous Comfort with technical regulations/legislation around internal fire door systems CAD/design skills would also be an advantage Extensive knowledge of door testing Self-motivated, communicative, relationship builder with strong negotiation skills Mitchell Maguire is a specialist Construction Recruitment Consultancy, dealing exclusively with Construction Jobs, Construction vacancies, and Specification positions within: Timber Door Manufacturer, Timber Doors, Fire Doors, GAI, FDIS, Fire Door Inspection, Warringtonfire, Q-Mark, EXAP, Compliance, Technical, Product Development
