Product Owner Salary circa

£50,000 Are you a Change Management professional who thrives in dynamic environments and loves tackling challenges head-on?

We are looking for someone to play this vital role in a high-profile programme focused on the property claims system. This is a unique opportunity to be in the centre of exciting and challenging change, develop an in-depth knowledge of the claims system, and drive real value. We are looking for strong product owners who can deliver our new products, turning vision into tangible change as the backbone of a successful delivery team. A bit about the job: Claims re-engineering launched in early 2022 and is an ambitious transformation programme across all lines of business targeted at closing the gap to market-leading performance.

UKGI Claims plays a significant role for Aviva, delivering customer outcomes and controlling indemnity spend. You will be accountable for delivery of new products in line with the sponsors vision which can include IT deliveries, process changes, data deliveries and analytics models.

You will be central to a delivery team, inspiring them to ensure buy-in into the vision and building a clear product roadmap of specific deliverables.

You will work closely with other development teams across the programme to ensure that both roadmap and the value of products across the end-to-end system are well understood and joined up.

Work closely with sponsors and SMEs to optimise product development to maximise value.

You are responsible for all key decisions relating to the product development and you must be available to the delivery team at all times.

Support the development team by helping to unblock issues as needed.

Proactively manage stakeholders through the regular governance cadence and work with the development team to bring to life progress and successes.

Demonstrate energy and pace, motivating the delivery team and players across the programme.

Contribute to the wider PO community within the claims COO with the sharing of ideas, best practices, and the promotion of the PO role, as well as through coaching where the need arises.

Skills & Experience we’re looking for Demonstrable change delivery experience within a PO or similar role.

General Insurance knowledge is preferable - understanding of the claims value chain across various business lines.

Experience within an operation (particularly in financial services) would also be valuable.

Be proactive and tenacious, with good problem-solving skills and the ability to think laterally.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking, prioritizing capabilities, and delivering within agreed time limits.

What you’ll get for this role: Our purpose - with you today, for a better tomorrow – is a promise we make to our colleagues too. And one of the ways we live up to that promise is by investing in you. We have so much to offer when it comes to being an Aviva colleague. Salary around
