Overall Purpose of The Job The role is responsible for leading global projects and ensuring the implementation of process changes in the respective region/geography. Key Responsibilities and Tasks Lead global projects/programs with direct ownership on costs & benefits. Manage successful rollout of transformation solutions within the assigned region. Work closely with technology & business to facilitate timely & cost-effective delivery on both system enhancements & new functionalities in alignment with business needs. Facilitate ongoing business improvements to improve KPIs and productivity. Coordinate with global counterparts in relation to the business improvement strategies designed by the OPEX team. Drive standardization and compliance to global blueprint/target operating model. Work closely with the Crewing Directors and GMs to identify & implement improvement projects/initiatives. Deliver process innovation and continuous improvement initiatives across the assigned country/region. Review current processes and procedures and work with process owners, quality & technology on necessary changes to facilitate process improvement. What can I expect in return? V. Minimum Requirements Graduate of Industrial Engineering or any business-related course; MA degree is an advantage. Experience in working in a cross-cultural environment. Excellent verbal and non-verbal skills. Excellent change management skills and experience. Ability to influence without formal authority. 8+ years of proven project management and continuous improvement experience, preferably in the shipping and maritime industry. Knowledgeable on different continuous improvement methodologies including Lean, Six Sigma, project management, and business analysis. Highly comfortable working in a virtual, global team. Required English language knowledge appropriate to the rank. Preferred Qualifications MA degree. Lean Six Sigma black belt certified. Certification in one or more of the following: Certified Scrum Master Prince 2 Practitioner PMP Experience in managing & driving automation, digitization, and other technology-driven improvement projects.
