Milk Operations Supervisor, Days - 4on 4off

Location: Evercreech At Gregory Distribution Ltd, we are currently seeking a Milk Operations Supervisor to work at our milk collection depot in Evercreech. The position of Milk Operations Supervisor involves: Route planning of all vehicles to ensure effective routing and maximization of utilization while maintaining service levels to customer and GDL requirements. Ensuring that tankers are presented in a clean and tidy condition. Maintaining compliance with company guidelines regarding driver appearance. Ensuring compliance with statutory obligations regarding Law and Health & Safety for vehicles, drivers, and trailers. Completing GDL and customer paperwork accurately and timely. Maintaining industrial relations and addressing local disputes promptly. Being responsible for the first level of disciplinary procedures for staff under supervision. Ensuring adherence to customer hygiene requirements. Answering the telephone courteously and addressing questions from customers or Senior GDL Management. Maintaining good working relationships with drivers and customers (including farmers). Assisting in the recruitment and induction of drivers. Essential Skills required: Previous experience in the milk collection environment is desirable. Previous experience in transport is essential. Leadership skills are essential for managing a busy team. Customer service experience is essential, both over the telephone and on email. Attention to detail. Ability to communicate at all levels. Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload. Ability to work to deadlines. Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative. Why Gregory Distribution? Salary for Milk Operations Supervisor is £34,500 to £36,000 per annum, depending on experience. Hours of work: 06:00hrs to 18:00hrs, based on 4on 4off rota.
