Skanska infrastructure water team are currently seeking a Planner as part of our alliance project with Anglian Water. You’ll take ownership of the project plan, drive the project team to deliver to the plan and challenge any delay and deviation. You will be a key member of a wholly collaborative team and will use your experience, enthusiasm and skills to help the team drive efficiency and outperformance. What you’ll do: Collaboratively develop and maintain robust detailed project plans for the Delivery Team in accordance with @one requirements ensuring methodology is consistently followed. Ensure project plans capture the full project scope and resources are considered and loaded as required. Pro-actively identify opportunities and risks in the plan. Monitor the critical path and key milestones, advising the delivery team on any potential changes and leading challenge and mitigation actions. Develop 4D animations of the project plan to aid digital rehearsal of the project construction. Design and implement effective and value-added communication plans ensuring relevant teams and individuals are clear and buy into the strategy and approach. Ensure planning standards are maintained across @one and published processes are adhered to. Appreciate and uphold the Health & Safety standards in all planning processes with the mantra of ‘Nothing is so important that we cannot take the time to do it safely’ at the heart of all activities. What you'll bring to the role: We are seeking individuals with a strong background in Civil Engineering, ideally within the Water Industry. Proficiency in Primavera P6 (P6): Ability to effectively use P6 for project planning, ensuring accurate timelines and resources are allocated. Leadership in Collaborative Planning: Proven ability to lead and facilitate collaborative planning processes, engaging all relevant stakeholders for efficient project delivery. Drawing Interpretation: Strong ability to extract and apply critical information from engineering drawings to develop and implement effective planning solutions. Effective Communication: Ability to communicate complex information clearly and confidently to diverse audiences, particularly in high-pressure situations with tight deadlines. Adaptability & Innovation: A flexible, innovative approach to problem-solving and adapting to changing project needs while remaining focused on key objectives.
