Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Be a key member of the senior leadership team, contributing to the technical strategy and site development. Team Management:
Provide direction, support, and development for the technical team, ensuring high performance and a forward-thinking approach. Food Safety Culture:
Drive food safety culture throughout the factory, ensuring compliance with best practices and standards. Audits and Site Visits:
Lead and be present for all external site visits and audits, including BRC and retailer standards, ensuring successful outcomes. Stakeholder Management:
Maintain and enhance relationships with internal teams and external contractors, fostering strong, collaborative partnerships. HACCP Management:
Oversee the site's HACCP system and ensure the effective maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS). Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience as a Technical Manager in the food and drink industry. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a technical role. Previous experience with chilled products (preferred but not essential). Strong knowledge and experience working with BRC and retailer standards. Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, driving continuous improvement and innovation. Salary:
£65,000-£75,000 (Dependent on Experience) The ideal candidate will be working in a similar position within food production.
