Owing to a successful period of continued growth, a market leader in Optical technologies is now looking for an Optical Team Leader to join their Southampton facility. Your responsibilities will include leading the Optical and Electronics Team to meet company objectives and deadlines. You will troubleshoot and resolve problems with optical lab equipment. Working closely with the Operations Planner, you will ensure production schedules are implemented effectively and delivered on time and within budget. Any discrepancies should be reported to management. You will assemble and test a range of Optical products. As necessary, you will organize the repair and routine maintenance of the lab equipment. In addition, you will support the transition of new products from NPD/NPI into production. Now is an exciting time to join this rapidly growing tech company as a Team Leader. As the successful Team Leader, you should have previously worked in a similar manufacturing environment and be familiar with building free space optical devices. Your experience in Optics should include using lasers or laser diodes, assembly and testing of photonic products, and building fiber-optic devices. Qualifications:

Ideally, you should have a relevant degree or gained equivalent knowledge through working in a similar industry. Additional Information:
