Fire Safety Improvement Coordinator
to join the team at Thames Valley Police HQ South. This is a pivotal role supporting the planning and implementation of a Fire Safety Improvement Programme across the force's 160 sites. Key Responsibilities:
Coordination:
Gather fire safety information and documentation for each site and building.
Implementation Support:
Assist in implementing a Fire Marshal process in collaboration with Health & Safety SPOCs.
Tracking and Reporting:
Monitor and report on the progress of actions required for programme implementation.
Issue Escalation:
Identify and escalate blockers or issues to the Health & Safety Team.
Essential Skills and Requirements:
Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively across multiple teams and levels.
Proven organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail.
A proactive approach to gathering documentation, including Building Plans and Emergency Procedures.
A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for travel across the force area.
Desirable Skills:
Interest or experience in Health & Safety or Fire Safety (not essential).
